Distribution is the only moat left

Product parity arrived faster than anyone planned for. What separates companies now is whether their founders publish consistently — and whether there is a system behind it.

Every category we work in has the same problem: the product gap closed. Features get copied in weeks, pricing gets matched in days, and the demo everyone gives looks the same.

What has not been commoditised is attention. A founder who publishes three times a week for a year builds something a competitor cannot clone by shipping faster.

Why founder-led distribution stalls

It is almost never a lack of ideas. In practice it breaks in three places:

  • No capture. The best material shows up in sales calls and disappears there.
  • No cadence. Posting happens when someone remembers, which means it happens in bursts.
  • No approval path. Drafts sit waiting on the founder, and the window closes.

What a distribution system actually does

It treats publishing like an operation, not inspiration. Signal comes in from calls and conversations, drafts get written in the founder's voice, approval happens where the founder already is, and the calendar fills itself in the windows where that audience is awake.

That is the whole thesis behind Invisible App: one engine per founder identity, and nothing left to memory.
